Following the new measures announced by the government on Friday, we have no choice but to cancel all of our concerts until 16 December 2020. In practice, this will affect the two series of Beethoven concerts in Mechelen and Brussels, including 2 concerts with the clarinettist Roeland Hendrikx, the Beethoven Integrale with pianist Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, as well as the concert series with Norwegian violinist Mari Samuelsen in Leuven and Hasselt.

Under the current conditions, it is no longer possible for our organisation to organise concerts. The huge reduction in audience capacity and the safety regulations simply make it impossible for the moment. Not only because the risk of infection is too high, but also thanks to the great responsibility we feel towards society in general. This is not only in relation to the broader cultural sector, but also, more specifically, in relation to our musicians and to you, our audience.

Of course this is a drastic and difficult step for CASCO Phil, but the orchestra fully understands and supports the measures: the only way to limit the impact of this virus is for everyone to make a concerted effort.

You will receive information from our partner organisations about ticket refunds. Of course do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly if you still have any questions.

We very much hope to come together with you again, safe and healthy, for our Christmas and New Years concerts. Until then we send you our warmest greetings.

Stay safe!
