Call to support CASCO Phil during the Corona crisis
25 March 2020
Coronavirus: Due to the current crisis both the ‘CASCO Phil plays Beethoven IX’ concert series (2/5/2020 in the Sint-Rombouts cathedral in Mechelen, 3/5/2020 in the Handelsbeurs in Antwerp, and 8/5/2020 in De Doelen in Rotterdam), as well as the concerts of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony (10/5/2020 in the Kursaal in Ostend & 15/5/2020 in de Singel in Antwerp) had to be cancelled. We are now busy conferring with the whole team at CASCO Phil to organise new dates for these concerts. As soon as we have more information about this, we will announce it on our website and also via social media. If you have already bought tickets for these events they will still be valid for the concerts, although of course it is possible on request to have your tickets refunded.
As you may know, CASCO Phil is an orchestra that relies entirely on its own initiative, and does not receive any subsidies. We will not be sitting idly by during this crisis but will try to get ahead of current events by facing the difficult financial implications head on with a number of initiatives that we will be developing over the coming weeks. You too can help by making a contribution!
We have a range of options for supporters, with something to suit everyone. Firstly, if you have been a ‘Friend’ in the past we would like to invite you renew your donations for the current year if you haven’t already done so. And if you are already a ‘Friend’ you are more than welcome to make an additional donation if you are able.
Friend: € 50
Good Friend: € 100
Best Friend: € 225
Close Friend: € 750
Ultimate Friend: € 1,500
Extra free donation with the message ‘CORONA’
You can make donations via bank transfer to the account number BE70 1325 2526 3125, (account name: CASCO Phil vzw) and in your message either give the name of the formula you want (ie ‘Good Friend’, ‘Best Friend’ etc.) and/or write the message ‘CORONA’.
We very much hope to see you again very soon at one of our concerts in Mechelen or elsewhere. In the meantime, we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy, with care and solidarity for everyone in our community. And thank you in advance for your support.
